    trip/travel/journey

"We usually go by train, even though the car......... is a lot quicker"

    A journey
    B travel
    C trip

The answer here is A but how come neither B nor C is acceptable?

    Re: trip/travel/journey

'Trip' is not impossible, though the word is more generally used for a short journey to a place and back again, often for pleasure. 'Travel' is normally used as an uncountable noun; it is not used for a single journey.

Where are you going to move your errant apostrophe to?!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I've deleted it, thanks for pointing it out ems. They are like trolls, they sneak in and cause problems. Be vigilant!
