    In real life, today's research is aimed at creating animals with enough humanlike parts to test new drugs or medical treatments--so human don't need to be test subjects. While that purpose deserves praise, the experiments create ethical dilemmas that go far beyond those for cloning and other recent bioscience advances.

    What does the underlined "those" refer to?

    Does it refer to "the experiments"?
