It's not the only thing that sounds a tad odd in that text.

The whole thing needs editing.

"A tad"? Yes, but not "bad" (pardon the rhyme). Perhaps "We hope you enjoy the publications and the articles" might be less "odd".

Is it actually correct to say, "We wish you an excellent reading"? I think it's unidiomatic.

"Unidiomatic"? Just add it to the ever-growing list.
