Red face Can I say that

Can I say that " I have a question asking about how to..."?
Is my sentence correct? Do we need to add the prep "about" after "asking" like above.
    Thanks so much!

You need "about". You don't need "asking". A question is someone asking something.

"I have a question about how to ..."

Please use full words - "preposition", not "prep". It helps other learners to understand the meaning of posts and can be misinterpreted. Some of us on the forum see the word "prep" and assume it means either "preparation" or "homework"!
