A. What does he mean by "1"?
1: All I have to do is lose Hanky now!.
B. I wonder if there is any difference "(2) All I have to do" and "(3) All I have to do".
2. All I have to do is wink at her, and she'll come over here.
3. All I have to do is lose Hanky now!

Think of it this way:
My day is pretty awful. I lost my money. It may be one of the worst days ever. To make it the worst day ever, I just need one more bad thing to happen. All I need for it to be the worst day ever is t lose my dog.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
