Could you tell me the meaning of the kind of sentence which has structure of "Subject + would have + verb"?
When do we use it?

What do you mean by "the meaning of the kind of sentence"?

not + have started World War II. But they were not firm.

did not pass the test today.


Ms. X lived for a hundred years. She never married. But if she had married someone, she + would have + married

only for love, not for money. But she never met the man of her dreams.

So, "would have +verb" expresses something we wil do in the past, the onliy thing is it was not truth.we didn't do that.
