2 questions related to the Body Shop
- The reason why there's this definite article 'the' is because it sounds unique and whenever one thinks of buying body care products, it should hopefully be 'the' Body shop that pops up first in their minds. Is my explanation right?
- The slogan is "Nature's way to beautiful"
Shouldn't it be nature's way to be beautiful / nature's way to beauty
I don't think it's grammatically incorrect here but seeing it on the door signs, newspapers, even the bags they use make me think deeply what on earth is going on with the word 'beautiful'.
Much obliged if you can shed some light
thanks a lot
1 To me, it's simply because it's part of the name.
2 It sounds more natural in your versions in most contexts, but slogans are like headlines and don't have to follow all the rules of sentence grammar.
