    Post Pay Debt

    Could I write:

    "pay a debt"

    in the same sense as:

    "pay a rent"
    "pay tuition"
    "pay a bill"
    ?

    Re: Pay Debt

You can pay (off) a debt/your debt or debts; you can also settle a debt.
We normally pay the rent or my/our rent.
