1. I bought a camera that was made in Japan.
2. I bought a camera that is made in Japan.
Between the sentences above, which do you think sounds natural?
Does it sound natural to say 'Canxx is good. It is made in Japan'? Thanks.
Using a singular or a plural after a company name is one of those irritating things in the English language that doesn't really have a rule. Do you consider it as "a company" therefore singular, or as "all the people who work for that company and all the products the company makes" and therefore plural? In my opinion and experience, there is no right answer.
I love Ample. They're great!
Canan are based in Korea, I think.
Macrosoft is awful. I hate it!
I have (barely) changed the names of the companies to avoid charges of libel.
