    Is the charity one you respect?

    If someone walked up to you on the street to ask you to donate money to a charity, would you do it? Your actual behavior depends on any number of situational features you are not in a position to know until you are actually in the moment. Does the person asking look meek or menacing? [...] Is the charity one you respect?

    Only if you only respect one single charity, making it the charity you respect. However, what the question means is "Is the charity in question one of the charities you respect?"
