Is there a noun to describe such a person? A talent of working out crooked ideas?

    Thank you in anticipation.

What do you mean by crooked?

The COED defines the word as

    • 1 bent or twisted out of shape or position.

    • 2 informal - dishonest or illegal.

    Perhaps you mean something else.
