Are these sentences correct?

In Armenia the roots of Easter comes from the ancient times. It symbolized the awakening of spring. It was dedicated dying and reborning of nature, and people celebrated it with immolation to Gods. The feast started In the evening before Easter. All people got together in church's yard and it was started to cook sacrificing lamb. It was followed by songs and games. Then each families took some part of oblation. Coloring eggs also comes from ancient times. That time eggs were colored with many colors which also symbolized the beginning of new life.

Dying and reborning of nature. Can I say such expression?
I would like to describe the meaning of spring. I mean in winter nature is dying and in spring it is again born.
