    development of papers ?

    Hello guys,

is it ok to say "development of papers (documentation)"? Can papers (e.g. technical or design papers) be developed or is it another verb? Drawn-out? Prepared?

    Thanks in advance

development of papers sounds right if you mean "to change into more advanced form".
    You can also make papers.
You can file papers and you can sort them.
You may work on a paper.
Sometimes you get your idea down on paper. Of course the latter could be used for both documents and the papers of your notebook.

    Re: development of papers ?

I mean the whole scope of activities on preparing documents of different kinds, like, say project documentation, specs etc. That is from the very first stage when you have some task set and till the final stage when you get ready with all positions of the project. What do we do with papers in one word? Do we develop them in this case, or do we prepare them, issue them ? By analogy with 'development of a project' can it be said 'development of papers'?
