    collocation: a birdie ( in golf)

    She (A. got, B. made, C. scored) a birdie.

    Which one(s) should I choose to complete the above sentence? Thank you.

    As a non-golfer, I would have thought all three were acceptable. Howver, when I checked with COCA, the only one of the three verbs that appeared was MAKE.

    I believe I've also heard the verb 'to card' in this context, but I'd say 'make'.
