The name for this cubicle, please...

    Hi,

Could anyone please tell me the name we use to refer to the cubicle with mirrors inside where you can try something on before you buy it? (At clothes shops)

    Thanks!

Re: The name for this cubicle, please...

Would the word cubicle be used at workplace too? If not, what are the areas separated by partitions in which an employee works individually?

    Many thanks for the reply!

It could also be dressing room in AmE. (referring to clothes stores)

Re: The name for this cubicle, please...

Cubicle is used for work here (the US). If you were at the store and asked me where the cubicles were, I wouldn't know what you meant. I would need to hear dressing room or fitting room to understand.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

...and I've heard it abbreviated to cube quite a lot.
