    Hi, I asked the following question yesterday, and the answer I got from a language expert is "B". Would you please tell me why "A" is not acceptable? Thank you so much.

    "Please make sure all cellphones are turned off while the movie/film (A. is showing, B. is being shown, C. is shown).

    Which one(s) should I choose to complete the above sentence? Thank you."
