    • "Grammar" is spelled with an "a." And we do not leave a space before the punctuation, as you did with the period ending your sentence.

If referring to the language, I believe it could also be: '...and all the technology has been written in English...'

The documentation about the technology has been written in English. The literature of the technology is in English. I don't think the "technology" itself is in English.

But that's what I said in my previous post:'...and all the technology has been written in English...'

I believe saying it has been written by English speakers slightly change the meaning.

Re: English Grammer for all generations

The original sentence said "written by English," which I took to mean "written by English speakers" not "written in English."

My point about technology depends on what your definition of technology is. If by "technology" is meant the electronic products so familiar today, I might agree. And I might not. When you turn the product on, it might be displaying information in English as a default.

But a computer chip is a form of "technology" and it isn't "written in English. It is a circuit on silicon. The documentation may be in English, but the technology isn't.

    Hi!
Technology can't be 'written', but it can be 'written about (by somebody)'.

    What do you think?

I agree with you guys, I see your point. The thing is that I was thinking in technology as a concept, an abstraction.

Yes, that is my point. Even with a broader definition of "technology" as the body of knowledge, it is not correct in my opinion to say that technology is in English any more than we would say geology is written in Spanish or Biology is written in French.

Now, knowing English certainly helps keep up with the latest discussions and technology developments, but that is a different point.
