    Idiom

    I need to know what does "boy was I in for a treat" mean, and if it has just a sasrcastic connotation? Thanks in advance for your help

    It doesn't have to be sarcastic- it depends on the intonation. If it is sarcastic, the something bad/unpleasant/boring/costly, etc, happened to the person.
