    taste, presentation, and color

    What do you think this "presentation" means here? 4 in the definitions?

    3. a social introduction, as of a person at court.
    4. an exhibition or performance, as of a play or film.

    I think 'presentation' encompasses the way the food is arranged on the plate, what kind of plate is it in, the manner in which it is presented to the diner, and so on. For instance, fajitas are often brought out while they're still sizzling and served to the customer in an iron skillet or platter. I would consider this aspect of the dish to be its 'presentation'.
