    form-fitting mattresses

What kind of mattresses is "form-fitting mattresses"? A very comfortable one to fit the body shape of a person?

go3mo-24 ex)Human beings direct their activities toward the satisfaction of physical wants and general well-being. They avoid, whenever possible, situations that may bring about physical deprivation, including pain, hunger, and a need for sleep. Much contemporary advertising promises these satisfactions, whether from headache remedies, fancy foods, or form-fitting mattresses.

Yes. They're made of 'memory foam'.

Incidentally, I just learned viscoelasticity - WordReference.com Dictionary of English, the adjective used for the foam's response to the body. And now, some trivia: In Spain, this foam is incorrectly advertised simply as "viscoelastica." No reference to "foam" whatsoever.
