Christmas is the main festival of/for Christians.

    Hi teachers,
Christmas is the main Christian festival. I want to change it using "of" or "for". Please tell me the difference if both are correct.

Re: Christmas is the main festival of/for Christians.

I think most Christians would say

'Easter is the main Christian festival' or 'Easter is the most important festival for Christians.'
