"What an ode to her mother and father's parenting skills that she felt nothing at their loss."

What does "what an ode to" mean here?
The author hates her parents and doesn't approve her parents' parenting ways. I think there's irony in this sentence.
I can't understand just this "what an ode to" phrase.

Can somebody explain it or just write another sentence that means the same thing?

An ode is a poem written to exalt someone or something. To sing about how great they are.

Yes, it's used ironically here.

Yes, I know that. I found it in dictionary but just couldn't figure out how to interprete this sentence to my own language. That's because I am trying to find an exact meaning.

Wow! What a comment it is on how badly her parents did when bringing her up that she is not sad that they're dead.

Well, we've given you the exact meaning and we've explained what the intended meaning of the entire sentence is.

Consider replacing "ode" with "testimony" as in sense #2 here:

Testimony | Define Testimony at Dictionary.com

It's a more direct statement then, that the emotions she did not feel at her parents' death testifies to her parents' skills.
