    inland,

Again, I can't use the tool bar. Is this "inland" an adjective describing "rivers" and "streams" or an adverb?

    Re: inland,

Here "inland" is an adjective: inland rivers and streams.

Your intuition is good. "Inland" is often an adverb (of place), and I think the sentence would sound better if rearranged: The turtle is found primarily inland, in slow-moving freshwater rivers and streams.

This is not being reported by other users. We can use it. The problem is probably not at our end. Clearing your cache is always a good place to start.

    Re: inland,

Did you try logging out of the site and logging back in again? Last time I couldn't do any editing, that fixed the problem.
