    Will you make my day?

Two persons are watching an egg that is frying on the sidewalk.

One person says, "Wow! You are right, and I am wrong! It really is hot enough today to fry an egg on the sidewalk."

I think that the "really" modifies the whole sentence. That is:

"Wow! You are right, and I am wrong. In fact/ Contrary to what I thought, it is hot enough fry an egg on the sidewalk."

    Do you agree with me?

    THANK YOU
