    past perfect

Teacher, please check these sentences. Am I using the past perfect tense correctly?

Mr. Shing asked me whether it was possible for my company to reimburse him for his travel expenses. He said my Manager had reimbursed him for his travel expenses when he attended a meeting last year. I told him I would check with my Manager and would call him back.
