    Cool after emarking?

    Hi,

    Is the follwing passage correct?

    "About twenty minutes after embarking the boat approaches the salt deposits of Tibau.

    Do you mean "twenty minutes after the boat left shore" or "twenty minutes after the passengers embarked"?
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    OK, it's clear that you know what 'embarking' means.

    Your original sentence is not good English. There's a dangling particle. As written, it suggests that the boat embarked, which is clearly nonsense.
