Hi all,

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with this. I've just heard there's a difference in using these forms for males and females! Would that, for example, mean we'd better use 'to have her do it', and 'to get him do it' or vice versa?! I hope not!
:)

Thanks!

That's a new one on me. Where did you hear that? There is no difference at all in using these forms for males or females.

Where did you hear about this bizarre and non-existent difference?

Thanks to you both. I'll soon find the title of the book. This is what a friend had read in a book.

Many thanks again.
