Is Reminder Commander stupid name for software?

Greetings. (can I use it instead of hello?)
English is not my native language
I am a software developer. And I have a program with name Reminder Commander. One man told me that this is stupid name for software.
Is it true? Can you please explain why this name is stupid for english speaking people?

    NOT A TEACHER

What is a good name and what isn't, is subjective in my opinion. I personally don't really care what the software I use is called. One of my favourite applications is "Weird Metronome". I have been using it for many years, and I still don't know what's weird about it.

I am so ignorant in such matter that I don't even really know what 'software' is. I do know that if anybody had told me forty years ago that I would use yahoo to correspond with people, and that I would google things rather than go to the library, I would have thought they were mad.

Ignore him—it's not stupid at all.
