'What was his head like?' Is it a suitable question to ask?

    Hi teachers,
This is for a listening comprehension exercise. The title is the Elephant Man. The person that says that sentence is a doctor
    One question:
If this is what the students will hear: “his head was very, very big - like an enormous bag with a lot of books in it.” Is it a suitable question to ask? 'What was his head like?'

    Thanks in advance.
