Are these sentences natural? July 10

    Hi,

Are these sentences natural to a native ear?

    1. I am in the hole on this bet, I need a sucker.

    2. By the sounds of it, it definitely looks dicey.

    3. I doubt our stance will change even after this announcement.

    Thanks,
    MG

If you are judging by the sound of something, you wouldn't say it "looks" dicey.

    How would you say it?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

In order to avoid the repetition of "sounds", maybe "it seems dicey" would be appropriate

Please be aware that I'm neither a native English speaker nor a teacher.

Aside from the comma splice, I have no idea what this means.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

I had a bet that I was losing. I wanted to cut my losses and get out of the bet . So I was looking for someone who can take an offseting bet with me.

I hope your audience is familiar with your slang, then. I had no idea what you meant.
