    Size Of Tire

"There are many types of car tire."
"There are many kinds of car tire."
"There are many sizes of car tire."

The first two sentences is good English. But for the third sentence, should "tire" be singular or plural? A size is not really a type or a kind.

    NOT A TEACHER

There is no need to post your question twice ( duplicate post can be found here https://www.usingenglish.com/forum/a...kind-tire.html ). The language experts on this forum are busy people, they can't always answer questions immediately.

I think it should be plural. There are many sizes of car tires.

    Re: Kind of Tire

So, "there are many sizes of car tire." is wrong, and only "there are many sizes of car tires." is correct?
