    what does it mean when you give your opinion on something, and somebody says "second this" or "I second this"?

    It means that they agree with you. Please remember to start every sentence (and direct quotes) with a capital letter.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
