(Note: Venul could be a misspelling. But I could not see clear from the blurred picture)

It's 'Venus'.

'The publication of Sexual Behavior in the Human Female prompted even more intensive news coverage: Kinsey appeared on the cover of the August 24, 1953, issue of Time. The national newsmagazine featured two articles on the scientist, one focusing on his research career and new book, the other on his background, personality, and lifestyle. In the magazine’s cover portrait, “Flowers, birds, and a bee surround Kinsey; the mirror-of-Venus female symbol decorates his bow tie.” The lead article concludes with the following observation: “‘Kinsey…has done for sex what Columbus did for geography,’ declared a pair of enthusiasts…forgetting that Columbus did not know where he was when he got there…. Kinsey’s work contains much that is valuable, but it must not be mistaken for the last word.”'

Thank you.

Does "mirror" here mean "reincarnation"?

I think they're referring to this symbol:

11949849661308840073female_symbol_dan_gerhar_01.svg.med.png

which is the universal symbol for "female" and which does look similar to a hand mirror. Venus is the goddess of love, sex and vanity, and there are many famous paintings depicting Venus looking at herself in a mirror.

I think the symbol above is what was on the man's bow tie in your piece.

Thank you.
Does "reflection" mean "a calm lengthy intent consideration" there?

Where do you mean when you say "there" in your question? I cannot see the word "reflection" either in your original post and it's not in my reply.

Eh? The title of the thread is What does "Reflections in the mirror of Venul" mean?
It's there: the word "reflection" is in the title (in the picture).

Apologies. I completely failed to take the title into consideration. I read the text in post #2 several times assuming that the word would be there. I have not been able to open the link in post #1 and I assumed it went to the text which Rover posted in post #2.
