    What does "DO" stand for?

You must be an MD or DO practicing in the United States to join Sermo.

It seems standing for Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
    How limited the Sermo is.
If so, how was the name Sermo made?

Yes, DO stands for Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. As for the rest: Sermo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
