Could you please correct my sentence?

Ryan has been a fabulous student for 4 years of high school.

Re: Could you please correct my sentence?

In writing, sclark, it's customary to write a single digit number as a word ('...for four years').

A better title would have been A fabulous student, as it 'includes all or part of the word/phrase being discussed'
    (Forum Guidelines).
