Trade vs. Commerce?

Is there any differece?
Why do we say e-commerce but not e-trade?

Trade tends to be the sale and shipment of goods, while commerce could have a wider scope and include things like e-services as well. With many of the things bought and sold over the net, they are electronic, so maybe they seem more intangible.

I was going to say that trade has something to do with barter system compared to commerce, but your explanation is more sensible.

Trade doesn't imply bartering to me, though haggling over prices is a part of it. Bartering conjures up markets to me.
