    Gerund Noun or Verb

    Hi everyone,

I've been asked to pick out the nouns and pronouns in the sentence below but
I'm not sure if the word "Sleeping" is a gerund noun or a verb.

Sleeping eight hours a night is very good for you.

    What do you think.
