    Am I constructing the following sentences correctly?

    1) There are eight peoples,two wear red shirt,two wear blue shirt and two wear yellow shirt. They were told to sit alternately between each color, red,yellow,blue and continue red,yellow and blue order.

    There are eight people: two are wearing red shirts, two blue, and two yellow. That makes six people and six shirts . Let's clear that up first.

    2) There are eight peoples, two are wearing red shirts, two blue, two yellow and two green. They were told to sit alternately between these three colours.


    Here's one way you could write this.

    There are eight people, two are wearing red shirts, two blue, two yellow and two green. They were told to sit with the colours alternating red, blue, yellow, green, and then the same again.

    From the answers you have received, Jit, note that we say 'eight people' – not 'eight peoples'.
