I produce report which explains the change in cost.

Suppose the cost changes from $20 to $30.
I write report which explains the "reason" of the cost change.

Can I say the following sentence?

I produce report which explains the change in cost.

    Thanks

No - that doesn't sound natural.

'I have given our customers an explanation for the price rise.'

'I am writing to explain the change in price.'
