    wink and brink

    Hi all,

I just read the following lines of the lyrics of the song Secrets but I am not sure of its meaning:-

Thought you saw me wink, no, I've been on the brink.

Could you throw any light on its meaning?

    Thank you!

    Re: wink and brink

Have you looked up 'wink' and '(on the) brink' here?

Remember that those who write song lyrics often pay more attention to rhyme and rhythm than to complete sense.
