    mutil-billion

    Here is from a passage:

"The multi-billion dollar sportswear company Nike admitted that it blew it by employing children in Third World countries."

Does the underlined "The multi-billion dollar sportswear company " mean Nike earns billions of dollars every year by selling sportswear.

    Am I right?

Not necessarily. It could mean that the company is valued at billions of dollars.
