    every single bit

Please set me clear on the following in red.

Information and communication technology (ICT) has taken the classroom global while simultaneously updating the curriculum to just about every single bit of information one could ever desire.

Does this mean "ICT updated the curriculum to include almost all information one could ever desire"?

    Thank you.

I think I know what the writer means, but in my opinion it's not well expressed. I don't think you can "update a curriculum to bits of information", which is essentially what's been written here.
    Perhaps this works better:
..has taken the classroom global while simultaneously updating the curriculum by providing access to just about every single bit of information one could ever desire.

All the same, a curriculum is a list of subjects that make up a course of study. ICT does make a hugely increased amount of information available to people working within a curriculum, but I'm not sure that constitutes "updating the curriculum" itself.
Maybe I'm splitting hairs, others may see this differently.

    Re: every single bit

I don't know what the context is, but the UK National Curricuum has been updated to cover new ways of reaching and dealing with information; meanwhile, more information has been put online. So your paraphrase could be what the writer meant, but s/he might also have meant more. But, whatever the case, it's appallingly expressed (as so much is in the field of UK educational reform)!

    Re: every single bit

There is lots of information I desire that I doubt they can provide to me.
