    Unhappy Idioms connected with "joke"

I've got a question. I don't know what to tell after a joke when I made a mistake while telling it. I asked people from my country and they told me to say "I killed it", "I fell flat" or "bang went my joke". Can you help me?

    Re: Idioms connected with "joke"

I'd say the 'the joke fell flat' if no one thought it was funny. If I made a mistake teling it, I'd say that I 'fluffed it'.
