    Which is correct, during Lantern Festival or during the Lantern Festival?

    Context might help but in this case, I would be happy to say that we normally refer to "the Lantern Festival". Note that you would only capitalise it, if that is the recognised proper name for the festival. If not, then you would just say "At the weekend, I went to a/the lantern festival in Thailand".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Agree with emsr2d2 on all counts. Sometimes the "the" is dropped if you are emphasizing a period of time (e.g., During Oktoberfest, I drank a lot of beer!).
