    numbers and articles

However, I am still wondering whether the possibility with the two conjunctions is correct.

I used this sentence in my previous query and I suddenly felt that there was something that didn't add up. I don't know if 'the' can be used before numbers. Therefore, I must ask: Are numbers determiners as well as for example possessive pronouns and can we use article after them?

I am not too sure about using articles after them, but you can certainly use the definite artcile before them.

    Re: numbers and articles

Thank you. Would it make any change if I omitted the article, since I do not see much sense in the sentence above, when it stays on its own. By using the definite article, we are suggesting that 'the' two conjunctions have been specified. However, they have not been specified. Wouldn't it be more correct to use no article here?

    Hi,

In order to save you some trouble, you could use "both" instead.
