    relative clause with preposition

    Hi
    1. A church is a place
    a. you pray in.
    b. you pray.
    c. where you pray.

    2. A rose garden is a garden
    a. where you grow roses.
    b. you grow roses.
    c. where roses grow.

Could you kindly tell me if the following alternatives can be correct as well?
    1. A church is a place where you pray in.
    2. A rose garden is a garden where you grow roses in.
    3. A rose garden is a garden you grow roses in.

    Thanks a million.
Being a non-native teacher, I'm so thrilled being in such a superb forum.

'Where' has the idea of 'in which', so an additional 'in' is incorrect. 'Which/that', even if omitted. needs 'in' in such contexts.
