    what you want to design

    Are the following sentences acceptable?

    1. We cut a piece of the non-woven cloth to be in the shape of its frame, according to what you want to design.
    2. I designed a cute green crocodile with yellow dorsal fin and white teeth as a decoration on the costume.

Re: what you want to design

With my limited knowledge, if I analyze the first sentence it can be written as

We cut a piece of the non-woven cloth to be in the shape of its frame based on which you can design.

Re: what you want to design

I have no idea what #1 is supposed to mean.

You can delete 'to be' for a start, but what does its frame refer to and what are they designing?

Please start a new thread for the unrelated question #2.
