Is the idea to end up with correct English sentences? I'm not sure what you are trying to do. "Party wonderful" doesn't mean "We are having a wonderful party".

I am not really sure what you need to help with. Some of the shortened sentences are lacking their original sense. It really depends on how you want to shorten them. I wrote some notes, but they are definitely not exhaustive, or some of them might even be incorrect. I advise specifying the kind of shortening you imagine, because some of the sentences are without verbs, thus, appearing to me like headlines and some of them are lacking certain information from the unshortened sentences, which may cause confusion.

The sentences below have been shortened. Could you give me your suggestion? Thank you!
1. The new wristwatch is in a green box in the top drawer of the bedside table.
New wristwatch in green box is in top drawer of bedside table.

Everybody had come to believe everything about him. Fine
5. Sharon is canceling her vacation because there is some urgent business problem for her to deal with.

Mike returning home--just graduated from college. Sounds more like a newspaper headline
