    walking on clouds

I think a similar expression to this "walking on clouds" is "I'm on cloud nine". What other expressions can you think of?

W : Lovely. Have you set a date for the wedding?
M : Yes, the wedding is next month!
W : She must be a very special person.
M : Yeah, Rachel is the best person who has ever come to me. I feel like I’m walking on clouds. Oh, I can’t wait for the wedding.

On cloud seven is also used, though much less frequently than on cloud nine.

Was that really 45 years ago? I'm older than I thought.

    ***Not a teacher***

I believe "walking on air" is more common in American English too.

And what did one Scotsman say to the other? Hey, McCloud, get off of my ewe!

I wouldn't usually do that, but ems corrupted us with her OB/GYN joke earlier.

My feet haven't touched the ground (in months, etc.)
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
