    Post Dangling Complement

    thisisleicestershire.co.uk/College-poor-key-lessons/story-12055727-detail/story.html

"A report was published yesterday on the findings of a follow-up inspection into maths and science last month."

The part "on the findings of" is separated from "a report". So, it is dangling. Would moving "was published yesterday" to the end, like:

"A report on the findings of a follow-up inspection into maths and science last month was published yesterday."

    be better?

    not a teacher

No, the original version is better. The emphasis is on the report being published.
The emphasis would be lost if the word 'published' is put at the back.
